Paradox Delilah is an Australian/Canadian writer and director based in Vancouver, Canada.

Paradox began her film career in the sound department, working on several high profile productions including Mad Max: Fury Road, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Peter Pan & Wendy. This on-set experience as a sound technician allowed her an intimate insight into the director’s process, witnessing first hand the decisions and dialogue between directors and their actors, cinematographers and other on-set keys.

Over the past five years, Paradox has come into her own creatively, embarking on multiple projects. She self-published her science fiction novel The Race in 2019, and in 2020 had her short story Where Else But Queensland published in Andromeda Spaceways Magazine. Recently she directed and co-wrote the six episode web series Dentists, which received Official Selection at over forty film festivals and won a host of awards.

In 2023 Paradox wrote and directed the supernatural suspense short Twig and Twine, which will have its world premiere at Blood in the Snow Film Festival in November 2023. She was also honoured to be one of eight directors selected for the Women in the Director’s Chair (WIDC) Career Advancement Module, Spring 2023 program.
